THE SHORT VERSION

Nothing leaves your iPhone.

Rerun sorts your photo library on your device. It has no account and no server of its own, and it does not collect analytics, crash reports or any other data about you. We never see your photos.

01 / OPERATOR

Who operates Rerun

Rerun is operated by OMO Lab (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Privacy questions can be sent to wow@ooooomo.com.

02 / ON DEVICE

Your photos stay on your iPhone

Rerun reads your photo library through Apple’s Photos framework to show you a few photos each day, to group albums into folders and to find similar shots, screenshots and other photos you may want to review. All of this, including image analysis, happens on your iPhone. Rerun does not upload photos, videos, thumbnails, album names, locations or any analysis results, and OMO Lab does not operate a server that could receive them.

When you choose to delete photos, Rerun asks iOS to move them to Recently Deleted. iOS shows its own confirmation, and the photos can be recovered from Recently Deleted in the Photos app for 30 days. When you choose to make a video lighter or save a new image, Rerun creates the new item in your library on your device.

03 / LOCAL DATA

What Rerun keeps on your device

  • Your choices (kept, deleted, skipped) and today’s queue of photos, so you can pick up where you left off and undo.
  • Small thumbnails of the photos in today’s queue, so the widget can show them.
  • Daily counts for the calendar, and your settings, such as the reminder time and language.

This data is stored in Rerun’s private storage on your iPhone, shared only with Rerun’s own widget. It is removed when you delete the app.

04 / APPLE

Apple services Rerun relies on

  • iCloud Photos. If your library is stored in iCloud Photos, iOS may download a full-size photo or video from Apple when Rerun needs to show or process it. This is handled by Apple under your iCloud settings.
  • Maps. The Nearby view shows where photos were taken on an Apple Maps map. To draw it, Apple Maps loads map tiles for the area on screen. Your photos are not sent.
  • Notifications. The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your iPhone. It is off unless you turn it on.
  • Purchase. Rerun is bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we do not receive your payment details.

COMMITMENT / NO TRACKING

No sale or tracking

Rerun contains no advertising or analytics SDKs, does not use the advertising identifier, and does not track you across apps or websites. We do not sell personal data.

06 / CONTROLS

Your choices

You can change Rerun’s photo access at any time in iOS Settings › Rerun › Photos, including giving access to selected photos only. Notifications can be changed in iOS Settings › Rerun › Notifications. Deleting Rerun removes everything it stored on your device; photos already moved to Recently Deleted stay there until iOS removes them.

Children

Rerun does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If Rerun’s features change how data is handled, we will update this policy and the date at the top of this page before the change is released.
